Peace out! Haha. Kahit sa phone mo wala kang picture? Di naman kailangan ng internet para magka-picture at may mga pc shop naman, hello.

Sharmie Dallo: Tss dude, whatever, you can say what you want but that wouldn't really change anything haha. Bye!

Jag Galvez: Dude, wag ka kasing pahalata, next time galingan mo yung pagiimebento. Pwede ka siguro magkwento nyan sa mga bobo, pero wag sa professional. Ok? Bye!

Sharmie Dallo: Haha. Ok!

I've been receiving a series of group messages on my cellphone these past days - it doesn't concern me at all. One time, it suddenly irritates me a bit because the context is indeed 'papansin' and 'jologs' which gets into my nerve while I'm having a very nice mood. I tried to entertain the very thought, however the interrogative side of me prevailed.

Bye X750-F!

My A4tech gaming mouse wasn't functioning anymore for some bizarre reasons. Jig, my older brother, was using my mouse when it malfunctioned a few hours ago. I was told, out of the blue, it suddenly stop from working. NOOOOOOO! ;o

I used the mouse for good 3 years, moreover, it's design for precision gaming because it's equipped with a wide range of 600-2500 DPI, which is adjustable.

I stop playing 3 weeks ago for which I could focus more with my personal endeavors. What occurred to my pro-gaming mouse today means a nail to the coffin, bye mouse and starcraft!

Seair -- is it safe?

http://ph.news.yahoo.com/afp/20090823/tap-philippines-air-accident-5cc1ef8.html -- the pilot should have rooted for a misapproach if there's a crosswind at course and try to make a re-attempt to get a better look for a landing.

I've watch a good number of Air Crash Investigation episodes and crosswind is a mere hurdle to jump over for any pilot. Crosswind pushes the aircraft to a different direction which makes the aircraft misaligned with the runway, with that being said, the aircraft must fly slower than the standard calculation for the final approach which will give enough time to manoeuver the aircraft back on the track in a crosswind situation for a safe landing. It's easier said than done because the pilot must re-calculate everything, and fly the aircraft on a lower altitude on the final approach which can end up a short landing on the runway or a misapproach - which could have been a better choice for the Seair pilot.

It has been the second Seair accident which occurred this year. Now I'm having second thoughts if I'll still go to Boracay with the said airline next month..

UP Kinged DLSU!

UP Naming Mahal -- Maroon gallery.

August 22nd, Saturday, at FilOil Flying V Arena, The UP Fighting Maroons kept their final four hopes alive with a victory over the much favored DLSU Green Archers, 83-78.

UP comes out to the top, toppling DLSU's prolific full-court pressure with a good passing and spacing which results to disarming the opponent's main strength. Green Archer's head coach Franz Pumaren must do something, and counters by putting 'hefty' defender Joshua Webb to defend UP's main gunner Mikee Reyes -- the former De La Salle High School Junior Blazers’ star did score a career-high 25 points, delivering over a tall order.

My father is a fighting moron. Kidding!

The euphoria was written in every maroon's face, it feels like they won the championship, quite similar with UP's win against the ADMU on the first round of this season. UP now is trying to stand steady on a 3-7 record, still slugging it out even though with a slim chance of getting a slot at the final four, nevertheless UP FIGHT!

Triumphant Stallions!

August 16, 2009 - fiesta (festival) at Sampaloc, brgy 424, Manila. The DLF Fighting Stallions was invited to participate at a bastketball showmatch which happened at the covered-court at Vicente Cruz, Sunday Club's venue.

It was a hard fought and yet a high scoring battle which ended in a 2 point victory over the defending champions Black team, 106-104. We (DLF Fighting Stallions, White team) emerged victorious even though our key players didn't join the fray namely; Wilson De Leon and JR Nodalo.

A collective effort were exerted as everyone in the team contributed except Jog Galvez, who played a misserable game with a lot of turnovers against the fierce full-court pressure of the opposing team -- it was on the 2nd quarter were DLF's 6 point lead were blown out within a snap but we tried to make a final run before the first half and made the ball game close with a 2 point lead in favor of us.

3rd quarter was Elmer Galvez' nitch, he situated a barrage of shots, ending himself up with a 20 pts performance, the old but tested cager. Although we had the upper hand, Black team rallied themselves up to make it a close contested game onto the last quarter with a quick line-up.

Come the final strech, it was still a close game as both teams were taking the lead by every shot, nobody wants to be left behind as the head-to-head exchange continuous. It went down to the wire as we were down by 2 points on the last minute of the game. I did hit a crucial jump shot to tied the ball game at piece.

The remaining seconds were ticking..I was subsituted out of the game as our rookie sensation center, Don2x Nodalo entered for final possensions of the heated game. I don't know why my dad took me out wherein I still feel the adrenaline from the last shot that I took, weird.

Black team made a couple of freethrows to get our lead trimmed into 2 pts but we answered back with a defensive stop, it was Bubuy Nodalo who mapped the floor in a scramble with his own body to secure an offensive attempt which situated himself to a clutch-freethrow -- didn't make a basket. Even though, the Stallions still made a good stop at the defensive end, which gave Bong Iranga a good shot underneath the basket. Well played strategy out from the time-out, kudos also to Joseph Aguilar who orchestrated the winning play off the huddle.

Black team did attempt for a three point but failed to make it. DLF Fighting Stallions won over the defending champions which is a strong statement for all the participating teams on the Sunday Club league. It's the start of the new campaign for the team as we redeem ourselves from the last season's disappointing elimination..GO WHITE!!

Have a Safe Trip!

Ya, a great picture. Wasn't complete though! :S

3 weeks was so fast. My Norwegian relatives left today at NAIA terminal 1 via Singapore Airlines, bound to Oslo Norway -- bagged with a lot of good memories here in the Philippines, hopefully they'll come back the soonest. I'm going to missed you guys, especially my closest cousin Toby! (: The camera dude, you know. xD

I was able to give the photo mosaic which I had a hard time collecting pictures these past days, it gave a lot of headace, and I'm glad I finally got presented it to the family of uncle Odd, uncle Jan, and my cousin Toby with Yuumi's BIG help. I'm so appreciative of my gf's efforts. Everything was paid off when I saw their faces written with smiles when they received my present for them.

I wrote a brief letter at the back of the frames, it's like a souvenir, which will remind of their stay in the Philippines. I was so proud that I pull off a successful plan, which I made my relatives happy with my simple but heartwarming idea.

Last minutes on the Philippines -- Just like an ordinary departure, there were lots of hugs and kisses. Reiterating the good byes, but I meant everything I've said because it all came from the bottom of my heart, eww...cheesy. Hahaha!

They're now in the midst of a long cruise, a half way travel around the world. All I can say for now is I wish for a safe flight to you guys! Salamat sa lahat! (:

Trolling Around!

My father at Norway.

I've firstly heard of the word 'troll' through my auntie. She resides at Norway, when I was a kid..I was told about the myth of the trolls when there were still vikings -- a troll is a member of a race of fearsome creatures from the Norse mythology. Then come the internet, 'troll' has been used as an internet slang for those who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community. That's how pathetic the myth has transpired today.

With all being said. I wasn't aware of the 'troll' in real life, though it's easy to catch up with the idea. How funny can it be? Now the myth has become a reality or the other way around which it comes out from the internet?

Hahaha. Whatever theory, what's the deal on the table now is 'trolls' in real life may had lived a long time ago, ahead of the age of the vikings, and before the internet was introduced. The human trolls wander around everywhere, they hide their true identity, so beware! :S

Weekend at Boni!

Paolo Franco, my cousin celebrated his 21st birthday (Pao's claim) on the Franco's house in Bonifacio Village at Quezon City. It was fun having the whole gang with Jenny (Pao's classmate at UPIS) and Ingerid (Toby's girlfriend) on the same table, enjoying the food and talk. There were a lot of "deggy" chant which was supposed to be a taboo word but became a household name instead, It was a birthday party not a baptism. What a gift though! lol.

Afterwards.. We went to the den of evil, as Jig used to call it to spend the rest of the day -- our command center. Played some good old mugen matches, watched some cool videos, and supported me well while I play for an online StarCraft tournament. Now I realized, I should have used the earphones so that I won't be able to hear any distractions from Jig and Paolo because they were sooo supportive..excuses? Yes, I lost! But actually there were a lot of misclicks because I had a mouse-smoothness problem. The surface of my cousin's computer desk wasn't compatible with my mouse. Damn, come worst, I forgot the mouse pad..yeah..I'm not destined to emerge victorious that night.

"Kailangan di mo makalimutan tong pagtalo mo na to" as Paolo was teasing me along with Jog and Jig. Wow, they're indeed nice to me. Hahaha! At some point, I would like to punch their faces but I just said to myself, perhaps it wasn't my day to win so I just laugh my ass with them. I saw Ingerid was slightly laughing, grrr, thanks to Toby, the only person who didn't join the bandwagon. I hope it wasn't because of pity. (:

Back to the den of evil to do some late night gaming with hot chocolate for everyone to keep us awake until early morning of Sunday.

The whole gang woke up so early to exercise. Oh come on..we had our brunch outdoors, near the garden. It has been a decade since we've eaten altogether outside the dining room but before that, we had a hard time setting up the tray tables for some bizzare reasons. Maybe we're hungry? That's why tita Bop got a little upset with us -- she did the favor. I can't imagine how come we can't assemble a simple tray with the basic fact that it just the table legs are needed to be locked in a hole.. I even accidentally dismantled a whole table, what the fuck? Perhaps we were in dire need of food because we began to act brainless, especially me! After the meal, I know I had carrot and ube cake. Hahaha, wow I'm thinking. (:

Back to the den of evil to play more games, it's like we came back to the past, just like the old times. Pizzas were ordered for the boys. Then later that night, I finally met Benjamin, Paolo's half brother. Everything went fine over the dinner. We even played poker texas hold'em late at night, it was crazy when someone's calling for an all-in! WOOO! FUN!

FUN! And it was a weekend like no other for the whole gang. We all know that we can't do it once again anytime soon so let's just do it whenever we could in future time. Those two days were like a week, so full of laughter and fun. (:

The Proposal!

It was a rainy day as the weather is still mourning with the former president Cory Aquino's death. Although having a bad weather, my gf and I still pushed through to unwind by watching a movie called "The Proposal". The whole nation needs to relax, come on. (:

It was a last full-show and we ended up 5 mins late as we enjoyed much our lasagna pizza. With stuffed tummies, we rushed towards. The movie is a romantic comedy starred by Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds -- actually I googled their names because I didn't know them as I'm not a cinema-dude. Though I decided to watch keenly since I already bought the tickets, make it worthy.

The scenario is like..the girl needs to marry the boy even though it was out of place just to get what is wanted and it's like ending up happily ever after. It was quite predictable but what amazes me was I know what will happen but still it gets interesting because of how the story develops. I have an idea what's going on but the delivery of the characters has made magic to make the scene more interesting even though there were ideas on my head on how the story will go.

With the right blend of romance and comedy it makes the movie goes on smoothly and entertaining and yet the acting was commendable. It is worthy of everything.. I don't care if I'll catch flu by tomorrow. I'll continue watching any movie with the same caliber, even typhoon will not stop me.

It's like I'm becoming a fan now. xD
